About Me
Welcome to my hobby/small business aspiration. I have been interested in web design for quite some time. A friend recently asked me to help him setup a website for his business, so I decided to teach myself web site construction. I have since created five websites. All of which are for businesses and organizations. I am currently hosting all of these sites personally.
I have become proficient with Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 and I am thoroughly enjoying writing webpages. As each day passes I learn something new.
My goal is to begin setting up webpages for local businesses in order to increase the web presence in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.

My other aspiration is consulting. I have compiled several methods of becoming more productive at work and in my home life. I would like to offer this knowledge and information to companies who need to get ahead in these tough economic times.
I have started a MBA program at the E.J. Ourso School of Business at Louisiana State University. During my studies I have developed some interesting ideas on selecting employees who will benefit your business and ultimately decrease your turnover rate.

I am a native resident of Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana, located right in the middle of the great State of Louisiana as you can see below.....
Avoyelles Parish is the home of the Paragon Casino and Resort and some of the best hunting and fishing in the United States. Known for our many bayous and swamps, we are rich in wildlife.
I had the opportunity to grow up here and attended high school at Avoyelles High School in Moreauville, Louisiana.
I left for a brief time while completing college in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Unfortunately, computer science and web design was not in my studies. I majored in Biology with hopes of attending medical school. Like so many other students I was not accepted to a medical school so I decided to try business. Now I am starting my Masters of Business Administration Degree at Louisiana State University E.J. Ourso School of Business in August of 2009.
I have always been interested in web design and computers. So I have taught myself html, html 4.1, xhtml, xml, css, and I am currently learning php. Other programs I have taught myself are Microsoft Access, Powerpoint, Word, Xcel,Frontpage,and Publisher. I am refining my skills with MS Access currently and will soon be venturing into the realm of SQL Database integration into webpages. I hope to soon start learning Adobe Flash to make my websites more dynamic, but I have not progressed that far yet. For now, I am following the website design guidance of Google.......
